Help

The questions designers ask most, answered the way I would on the phone. If yours is not here, email me and I will add it.

How does the search work, and what does it cost?

Type a town and a trade. Every business nearby that has nothing to click shows up, checked against the live web so a shop with a real site is dropped. Searching is free and unlimited, on every plan, forever.

Why does my budget say $0?

Your build budget unlocks when you confirm your email — $1.50, enough for two sites. If you have confirmed and it is still $0, you have used it; plans on the billing page top it up.

What actually spends the budget?

Building a site (about 60¢ with photos, less without), writing a pitch message (about 5¢) and each edit you ask for in the Builder (10–15¢). Searching, leads, notes and the call sheet never touch it.

How do I build a site for a lead?

Open the lead and press Build their website. It takes about three minutes and fact-checks itself. You can change any words directly on the page afterwards for free.

How do I show it to the business?

Every built site has an address you can open on your phone and hand across the counter, or text them. The call sheet gives you the number and what to say.

How does the client pay, and what do I earn?

You bill the client for your own work however you like — that money is yours in full. For hosting, you send them one bill from Unwebbed: 1, 2 or 3 years with the domain included ($299, $499 or $649), and $90, $150 or $195 of it is paid to you.

Can the site use the client's own domain?

Yes. When they pay the hosting bill, we register a domain in their name and the site goes live on it. A domain they already own can be pointed at the site instead; the page shows the two records to change.

What happens if a client stops paying for hosting?

Nothing dramatic. They get reminders at 90, 30 and 7 days. After the term ends there are 14 days of grace, then the site stays up with a short notice at the top. We never take a site down for non-renewal and never hold a domain hostage.

How do I cancel my plan?

Plan & billing → Manage cards, invoices or cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep the budget you have and every site you made, and nothing is deleted. Your clients' hosted sites are untouched: their hosting is paid by them for its term, not by your plan. If a renewal card fails, Stripe retries and emails you; your plan simply ends if it never goes through. Monthly plans have a 30-day refund, no questions.

Who do I talk to?

Finley. Email finley@unwebbed.app and a person answers — not a support queue.
