The biggest single gap in Portland is health — 234 of the 390 have no website at all, about 60% of them. After that it is restaurant (101) and bar (19). 103 of them have a phone number on record — 26% — which is the number that matters, because a business you cannot ring is not a business you can pitch.

What this number actually means
It means no website is on record in the mapping data, which is not quite the same as no website. Measured on a real search of 211 businesses, 6 of them turned out to have a site the map did not know about — roughly one in thirty. That is why every lead is checked against the live web before it reaches you, by looking for that business's own phone number on a domain built from its name. It is also why you should never cold-call from a raw map export.
